Become a foster home
A place for a while: taking an animal in for a few days or weeks gives it the time it needs.
What a foster home does
A foster home takes an animal in temporarily at home – until it is well again, has been rehomed or can move to a sanctuary. The association pays for food and the vet.
- We ask you when an animal needs a place. Whether it suits you right now is your decision every time.
- You tell us beforehand which animals you can take and how many at once – we go by that.
- Your details are not published. They are only for the people in the association who find places for animals.
How to become a foster home
- You apply via “Get involved” and choose “Foster home” there.
- We get in touch and get to know each other.
- You receive an email with your personal link. There you enter how many places you have and for which animals – and change it yourself later whenever something changes.
You are already a foster home but cannot find your link? Then we will send it to you again. Please write to us directly at info@tierrettungsverein-ashanti.de. Or call: 0151 22671289.
Are you a sanctuary that takes animals in for good? Then add yourselves to the sanctuary directory
