Your membership helps animals in need. The board decides on admission.

A free account on this website, the newsletter, a donation or helping as a foster home does not make you a member yet – that is what this application is for.

Paying the fee

The annual fee is due on 31.03. each year; in the year you join, shortly after admission.

Data protection information (Art. 13 GDPR)
  1. The controller is Tierrettungsverein Ashanti, represented by the board. Contact: info@tierrettungsverein-ashanti.de.
  2. Purpose and legal basis: we manage your membership – invitations, fees, information about the association (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep records of payments under section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). We store the optional information about helping only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  3. Recipients: the board, the treasurer and the auditors within their duties; for direct debits, the association’s bank; our hosting provider in Germany as a processor; the tax office where required by law.
  4. Storage period: as long as you are a member, then 3 more full calendar years for queries and outstanding fees; records of payments up to ten years (section 147 Fiscal Code). If your application is rejected, we delete the data 6 months after the decision.
  5. Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent (Art. 15 to 18, 20 and 21 GDPR). You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
  6. We need the mandatory information for the membership; without it, admission is not possible. You may leave out the optional information.
  7. The board decides on admission – there is no automated decision-making and no profiling.

The association is currently not recognised as a charity and may not issue donation receipts for tax purposes. Fees are currently not tax-deductible.

The board decides on admission; you become a member with the confirmation of admission. You can leave at any time in text form, effective at the end of the month.
