Donate Report an emergency

Animal missing or found

Two reports that belong together and rarely meet: someone has been looking for their cat since last night — two streets away an unfamiliar cat has been sitting on a terrace since last night. We put the two notes side by side.

Is the animal injured or in immediate danger? Then please use the emergency button — that goes straight to the on-call team. This page is for animals that are otherwise doing all right.
1 What is this about?
2 Which animal?
3 Photos

Up to 3 photos. A good photo helps more than any description – ideally one from the front and one from the side.

The photos are shown publicly with the report. We remove any location data your phone writes into a photo.

4 What does the animal look like?
Size
Sex

It is never shown publicly, but always compared. It is the only real proof — and that is exactly why nobody may be able to read it.

5 When?
Time of day (if known)
6 Where was that?

The location decides. An animal does not travel any distance — it is precisely the distance that tells us whether two reports might belong together.

We only ask once you tap the button. While you do, try to stand where you last saw or found the animal.

Other people will see this description. Write it so that someone unfamiliar with the area can find the spot.

7 How can we reach you?

Your name and number do not appear publicly. Anyone who wants to respond to your report contacts us — and we ask questions before we send anyone to an animal.

Then we need a mobile number or an e-mail address. You do not have to say why you cannot use the phone.
